Getting started
Your first video takes about five minutes end to end, and you don't need to write any code.
1. Create an account
Sign up with your email — it's free and doesn't require a credit card. You land in the dashboard, where everything happens.
2. Submit your first job
Click Submit Job (or go to Jobs → New) and fill in the form:
- Image — upload the still you want to animate (JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB). This is your video's first frame.
- Prompt — a sentence describing the motion you want, e.g. “gentle waves roll in, camera slowly pushes forward”.
- Model — Wan 2.2 or LTX-2.3 (LTX generates synchronized audio). See Choosing a model.
- Duration, aspect ratio, resolution — the form only offers combinations the selected model supports.
- Quality — Faster, Standard, High, or Highest. Higher tiers spend more rendering work on motion and detail.
The exact price of your clip is shown on the form before you submit — it updates as you change the settings, so there are never surprises.
3. Wait a few minutes
Videos render in minutes, not seconds — GetMeCompute is built for batch work rather than instant previews. Your job moves through pending → running → completed, and you can watch its status on the Jobs page. You don't need to keep the tab open.
Queue as many jobs as you like — they're processed independently, and a failed job never costs you anything.
4. Watch and download
When the job completes, open it from the Jobs page to play the video inline and download the MP4. Liked the result? Run again re-fills the form with the same settings so you can iterate on the prompt or bump the quality.
Next steps
- Want results delivered to you instead of checking the dashboard? Add a webhook — Webhooks & automation.
- Generating at volume? The same submit flow is available programmatically — API reference.
